We had a fabulous day at the ‘Made with Love Crafts and Gifts Fair’ where I was promoting and showing some of the original pieces of my new book.

We met some wonderfully creative people.  We found the cake stand next to us such a temptation – with lots of yummy cupcakes and amazingly decorated cakes.I loved Tina Spencer’s exquisite Swarovski crystal jewellery – what a selection!  Sandra Money and her daughter also had a table of beautifully designed handmade jewellery.

We had two make and take tables – one for earrings and one for memory wire bracelets.  There were lots of takers of all ages.  Participants were able to use their own choice of beads and every piece made was unique and beautiful.

Casey & Jodi had a display for their gorgeous Shamballa bracelets and a wonderful variety of earrings.

As a result of the interest shown, we will be running jewellery making workshops on 15 September.  Workshops will include shamballa bracelets, cha cha bracelets and right angle weave tennis bracelets.  There are only 20 seats available so write to me if you want to have full details sent to you.  carolyn@schulz.co.uk

I had so much fun making this chunky jade and elephant charm bracelet!  To create the bulk I wove several strands of chain through the large links of of the bracelet.  After placing the elephant charms I filled every possible space with chips and nuggets of jade.  Surprisingly, this bracelet isn’t overly heavy but it does make a statement and I always get comments when I wear it!

I am not one for wearing dangling earrings – I prefer pearl or diamond studs.  But when getting dressed up for a special night out – I find they add an elegance and here are one of my favourites!

This is one of my favourite rings.  I love freshwater pearls and think this one looks exquisite next to the shiny gold seed beads and sparkling Czech crystals.

This is one of those projects that is so quick and easy, you just won’t believe it!

Casey and Jodi will be coming with me to Gosport on Sunday the 14th where we wil be running a ‘Make & Take’.  For a small fee (from £3 for a bracelet and £2 for a pair of earrings) you can sit at our tables and design your own bracelet and/or earrings.  We will provide all the materials and tools and show you how.
