Chunky silver beads for earrings!

Metallised squares and antiqued, etched hearts combined with decorative head pins to make gorgeous dancing earrings!

Two of my favourite kits featuring in next Tuesday’s Creative Jewellery show are the Chunky Silver Assortment of beads and the Decorative Findings, both by Bijoux by Me.

Both are used to make the earrings above and below!

Antiqued flat disk beads hang from gunmetal chunky cord (part of the antiqued chain kit - colour: gunmetal). Love the decorative head pins!

Turquoise is back!!

The gorgeous natural turquoise is back in stock and will be featured on next week’s Creative Jewellery Show (QVC UK, Tuesday-6th March at 1pm GMT or on line at www.QVCUK.com).

Mixed with chunky silver metal and on gunmetal chain - my favourite bracelet (for now!). Check out those fabulous decorative head pins. There is a whole kit of decorative findings in the show and you will not believe the price!!

This gorgeous turquoise has sold out within minutes every time we have shown it on air.  The price is phenomenal.  It is NOT imitation and is not dyed.

The large/chunky mix as used with gunmetal chain to create the necklace. The dainty mix with decorative headpins (a new kit of Decorative Findings will also be featured on Tuesday - the price will blow you away!) and gunmetal chain were used to create the earrings.

Even a simple bracelet of turquoise on stretch cord looks fantastic when you have such gorgeous beads!

Beaded Watch Bracelet

This is one of my absolute favourite creations.  My friend had a bracelet made of several watch faces so I took it one step further and added faceted crystals to bling it up!!

There are so many different gorgeous watch faces - this way you get to use at least 4!!

The watch faces are connected using 3-on-3 chain maille.  Clusters of clear and jet faceted crystals on decorative head pins are placed in and around the jump rings of the chain maille.  A large lobster clasp holds the bracelet secure and is easy for me to open and close!

Today’s Luton Workshop a Success!

We had an amazing group of 30 gorgeous women at the last 1A Beginners workshop for a few months !  Everyone completed a lovely pearl necklace, earrings and a shamballa bracelet and had fun doing it!

Lush creamy pearls and diamante spacers in stunning colors - all from Bijoux by Me.

Next week starts our 1B Beginners when we will be floating beads on tiger tail to create a necklace, working with chain and beads to make earrings and a handbag charm and knotting a Shamballa bracelet with hematite and pave crystal beads.

Go to www.bijouxbyme.co.uk for details of space available!

Update on Website!

Prep'ing for Creative Jewellery show

Just to let everyone know, I am working on getting more design ideas into the ‘Inspiration’ section of the website and more techniques and instructions for individual projects in the ‘how to’ section.  Am even working on putting together the first video into the ‘how to’ section!!

There is a special Gallery in the ‘Inspiration’ section just for Shamballa/Friendship bracelets and beyond!  I am also including a section of design ideas for each of our Beginners Workshops – 1A is already up!

Hope you enjoy!

Pearl Necklace from Sunday’s workshop

Looking forward to tomorrow’s workshop in Luton – the last Beginners 1A for a few months.  Over 100 people have completed the first in a series of beginner workshops in fashion jewellery techniques.  (Next week starts the first, Beginners 1B workshop.  Check www.bijouxbyme.co.uk for the dates.)

Just one of the designs those attending can choose from when making their necklace on tiger tail (more designs will be posted in the inspirations section of this website!).

Shamballa beads are not just for bracelets!

Shamballa beads, disco beads, glitter beads – whatever you choose to call them, are making a BIG noise!  And why not?! With all the doom and gloom in the economy, recent unemployment figures and the grey skies outside, they can add just a touch of sparkle.  So why not use them in all aspects of jewellery.

Here I’ve mixed Shamballa beads with pearls and diamante spacers.

Shamballa bracelets feature in Sunday’s workshop along with a tiger tail necklace and earrings.  We have taken a larger room so can fit in a few more so if you are interested, phone Gary at Bijoux by Me.
